dreamstime_xs_60263857I remember one woman’s tip on getting pregnant. She told me to have a glass of red wine every evening. When I heard her advice I rolled my eyes and shook my head, “Another bubbie mayse (old wives’ tale)! Don’t even start with me!” I told her.”

“No, I’m telling you this just so you’ll just relax!” I broke out laughing. A cup of red wine in order to relax me? Not a bad idea. At least the idea was more relaxing than having someone tell me to relax which is the best way to make a person more uptight and tense. Another great way to release tension and relax the body is with massage. What does massage do and why do we offer it at Mircaz Panim?

The benefits of massage therapy are many including the following:

  • Reduce Stress & Anxiety
  • Increase Blood Flow (Circulation)
  • Alleviate Joint & Muscular Pain
  • Stimulate Lymph Flow (Boost Immune System)

The journey to pregnancy and having a child is a challenging one. No one can feel what you are feeling. No one can know your emotional and physical pain. We know that, but the least we can do is to try to make your journey a little bit less stressful. Offering massage therapy is one of the ways we do this, as massage helps to relieve physical tension and reduce emotional stress by increasing blood flow and by relaxing the muscles. Massage can also be beneficial in helping the body eliminate toxins and restore balance all of which are so important for a woman trying to conceive.

For nearly an hour we hope to take you to a peaceful place with our massage therapy where you can relax, unwind and have your body worked on as the knots and tension in your muscles disappear and go away. By the end of your massage session you can expect to feel more balanced, more relaxed and even a bit lighter. Please contact us for more information about massage therapy and the other services that we provide at Mircaz Panim.
